While we were working on the Visiting book with Nancy Mithlo, she asked us to help her develop promotional materials for an exhibition of two Native American artists she was curating in conjunction with the 2008 Venice Biennale.
The two artists had wildly differing work, but there were crossovers in theme and subject, which we used to create an arresting, unifying visual for the show. We created three-color promotional posters and matching banner for the exterior of the gallery.
We lived vicariously through Nancy as she traveled the exhibits and canals of Venice Biennale. We have made her promise to buy bigger suitcases next time so we can stow away.
